My story on this web site
Actually, all of my spice girl crazyness started when my cousin, Sheri, told me that the spice girls were so cool. I didn't believe her and kept telling her they were so stupid. At the time I had never heard their music before. Sheri, somehow, convinced me into listening to one of their songs, "Wannabe". As soon as I heard the music my point of veiw towards the spice girls totally changed. I had already memorized the lyrics and was singing them all the time. I started going crazy over them and bought all of their merchandise. I bought all their CDs and learned everything about them. I wasn't brainwashed my the music or anything like that, It's just that when I heard it I knew that there's something more to it than just lovie-gushy stuff.
There is a philosophy. And a darn good one at that! The spice girls state that women and men are equal. "Girl Power" is more than just 2 simple words. The reason the spice girls tried (and succeded)to make everbody know that girls have power, is because they grew up in a british world that disciminated girls and thought they were nothing. And that my friends, is nothing but a big, fat lie. That is what inspired me to make this cool website.
